Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
